The Best Early Extension Exercise!

Try This Drill!

We are continuing our early extension series with an exercise solution to help you stop standing up! As we discussed in previous posts, early extension is a combination of physical limitations that as a result, impact your technique. Here is a drill you can do at home or in the gym to give you the correct ‘feels’ and encourage your body into stronger positions!

You Don’t Have To Use The Ball…

Don’t worry if you don’t have an exercise ball handy. You can still recreate this exercise by setting up against other objects. You can use your golf bag, a chair, the side of the sofa or if it feels easier lean against the wall and remove the club for now. The key is to really drive your glutes or pockets behind you and feel that pressure and sensation as you come into impact. Give it a try and let us know how you get on!
